Entitled neighbor keeps stealing resident's delivery packages, resident installs cameras to catch him in the act: 'I literally have you on camera taking it inside'

It's hard to deny stealing your neighbor's package when it was completely caught on video.

There were several pieces of evidence that led to this author's suspicions that his entitled neighbor was stealing his things. It all began when he ordered a specific pair of Nike sneakers with a unique design on them (this will be important later).

The author assumed, at first, that the package was simply never delivered or that there was some kind of error, so he submitted a request for a refund. The very next day, he just so happened to notice his neighbor wearing that same pair of sneakers. What a coincidence…

This cycle continued when the author's dog food suddenly disappeared, and the author noticed his neighbor feeding his cats that same brand of premium dog food. Strange!

It turns out that because the two men live in a duplex apartment, it was especially easy for their respective delivery addresses to be mixed up. After all, they were practically the same address. Still, this dude knew exactly what he was doing, and the author was determined to prove it…

Still, he's clearly not very good at confrontations because, despite having all this proof, he could not bring himself to confront his neighbor in person, not even after his management company refused to do anything about this.

I'm 5'6" and I work from home doing graphic design. I'm not trying to start a physical confrontation with this guy. Also he knows where I live. Obviously. We share a wall. If I piss him off what's he gonna do? I already don't trust him, now I'm supposed to accuse him of theft to his face?

  • Alycion Amazon has drop boxes they can set up for you. You and the drivers can gain access. I am pretty sure it's available here. Fill out delivery instructions to put it on your porch on any site you can. It may save you a few trips across the bridge. I'd go back to the police with footage and the delivery notices that show it was placed on his side. That should prove theft.
